Aquatics Center ribbon cutting set for March 6

Additional details about the event are still to be released

– Paso Robles Joint Unified School District announced a save-the-date for the ribbon cutting of the Paso Robles Aquatics Center, scheduled for Friday, March 6.

The district said the ribbon cutting will mark the opening of the new aquatics facility and provide an opportunity for community members, staff, students and local partners to recognize the completion of the project.

“This project has been a long time coming, and we’re excited to finally share a date with our community,” said Superintendent Jennifer Loftus. “The Aquatics Center is an investment in student opportunity, wellness, and pride, and we look forward to celebrating this achievement together.”

According to the district, the aquatics center was designed to support student athletics and physical education. The facility will be used for student programs and is expected to host aquatic activities and events serving the wider region.

District officials said the ribbon-cutting represents the completion of one of its largest capital projects in recent years.

Additional information about the event, including the time, program elements, and attendance details, will be released closer to the date.

Updates and future announcements will be posted at www.pasoschools.org and on the district’s social media platforms.

Paso Robles Joint Unified School District serves more than 6,400 students across northern San Luis Obispo County. The district said it is guided by core values that include integrity, accountability, collaboration, innovation, compassion, and belonging, and focuses on providing a safe and supportive educational environment.
